Frequently Asked Questions


Fees will be discussed during the initial phone consultation and will depend on session length. Vera Eck, M.F.T. is an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies, so upon request, a Superbill will be provided which can be submitted for reimbursement. Because health insurance coverage varies dramatically from one company to the next, please be sure to check your policy so you understand your benefits.


Payment is requested at the time of each session. All major credit cards, cash, checks and most forms of electronic payment are accepted.

Appointments and Availability

Appointments can be scheduled on Zoom or in person. Please click
the “Book Online Now!” button to view available dates/times, which include Saturdays and occasional weeknights. If you don't see anything that suits your schedule, please email Vera at to inquire about other scheduling opportunities. 



When beginning therapy, meeting on a weekly basis is highly recommended until a certain amount of progress has been achieved. Some clients prefer to schedule the same day and time each week, while others have shifting demands that require appointments to be scheduled as needed. The decision regarding frequency is an ongoing dialogue that occurs over time, but please keep in mind that consistent attendance greatly contributes to a successful therapeutic outcome.
