Fees and Insurance
All of our counselors work on a sliding scale in order to meet the needs of a variety of income levels. Your specific hourly rate will be determined with your counselor before you attend your first session. Additionally, for those who would like to use their out-of-network health insurance benefits, a Superbill will be provided.
However, please be advised that billing your health insurance has some important consequences. In order to bill an insurance company, a diagnosis must be included on the claim, which may affect current or future coverage. Because health insurance coverage varies dramatically from one insurance company to the next, please be sure to check with your insurance company so you understand your coverage.
Payment is requested at the beginning of each session and may be in the form of cash or check. If you prefer to use your credit or debit card, please speak to your counselor about making arrangements in advance through Venmo or PayPal. We also accept extended payment schedules that allow you to spread your payments over a manageable time frame.
